This message is just to get everyone on the same page and avoid misunderstandings. The Drumstick Hall of Fame NEVER pays for drumsticks. It is a private non-profit initiative. I pay all costs in the Netherlands. That is, import costs, frame, info tag in the frame, framing, rent, insurance, gas, water and electricity, coffee, small materials such as glue etc. also the man hours for the website, writing to the nominees, costs of the website, storage and so on. I hope for your understanding. I do it for you. For drummers, by drummers.

All nominees have been notified. Many have responded to their fans, bands, family and especially fellow drummers. Who else needs to be nominated, who have we forgotten? Of course we are missing sticks from Roger Taylor (Queen), John Bonham, Charlie Watts, Clive Burr, Roger Taylor (Duran Duran), Phil Collins, Nicolas Collins, Simon Dawson, Thunderstick, Peter Criss, Cesar Zuiderwijk, Lars Ulrich, David Abbruzzese, Billy Orrico and many more. Some drummers cannot be reached via Messenger, e-mail, telephone or even via via. We have also added a number of drummers to our Facebook groups where the nominations may not have been communicated properly. Would their fans, bands, family and fellow drummers and even the drummers themselves please let us know?

At the end of February we will temporarily stop contacting new nominees. In March we want to focus on framing and completing the items. We will also supplement the open website entries or remove them if there is no input. Writing to new nominees and maintaining the website takes about 6 hours a day, so choices have to be made at that moment. Thank you for your understanding.

130 of the nominated drummers are already on the website with their bio, stick, photo and clip. 236 individual played and signed sticks are in the galley. 41 cymbals, drum heads and other cool stuff was added on the cymbals page. We are so proud of all that was established in 2023 and 2024. Thank you all, this is for you!
