Chris lives in Duiven and has been playing drums since the 1970s.

He also regularly filled in for bands like The Hot Rollers from Tiel and Ferrari from Heusden.
With Sugar & The Lollipops, he had a big hit in the early 1980s: “I Can Dance.” This single reached number 14 in the Dutch charts and a Top Ten spot in Germany. In Denmark, “I CAN DANCE” even reached number 1! Thanks to this listing, the band performed on Musik Laden in 1982, a wildly popular German TV show (live from Bremen), where they shared the same stage with Boney M, Cliff Richard, and David Bowie, among others.
Chris also owned his own music store in Druten for many years, where he taught around 75 students weekly. Now retired, he still teaches a limited number of students and is still active in several bands!
He has attended and continues to attend masterclasses and lessons with Jim Chapin (USA), René Creemers, Andy Gillmann (Germany), and many more.
