born in 1972, in the town of Warffum, where he started playing drums from the moment he had something in his hands. Pencils, knife and fork, etc. As a 6 year old boy he was finally allowed to start playing drums, in a local drum band. His parents hoped that it would be a bit quieter with playing, but no. He was also raised by his sisters with music from Status Quo, Fischer Z, Stiff Little Fingers, etc. From that time on it only got worse. Around the age of 18 he started a punk band with a few fellow villagers, Polder Kolder, in the style of Ramones, Boegies and Toy dolls. Around the age of 30 he went to Poland to work there, but drumming became a great loss, in the last 7 years in Szczecin, he started playing again with a number of Polish boys in the band Boundless. (Trash / death metal). Once back in the Netherlands he immediately started looking for a band again and that became Hopeless Dramatica, doom/death metal. Soon he came into contact with the men of Sad Iron via Orion Roos, Vortex, where he still plays, to this day. Married and with 3 children and 2 grandchildren, the drummer remains his great passion.
