Greg Amentt was inspired by his uncle to play drums at age 5. By age 17. He was playing regularly in New York with various projects. After two semesters as a music major at Finger Lakes College in New York, he left to tour with The Infidels. Greg has studied with Todd Sucherman from Styx, Rod Morgenstein from Winger and Dixie Dregs and Jeff Bowders who plays with Paul Gilbert and John 5. He also earned a bachelor’s certificate in Drums from Berklee School of Music in Boston Massachusetts. Greg continued his career as a hired gun and doing studio work, finally settling outside of Atlanta Georgia. He is currently the drummer of the Atlanta based band VoltageHead and continues to pick up hired gun projects and is standing up his own YouTube channel.
