As a child he was always drumming, especially when he saw the Glam Rock bands on Top Pop.
When he then saw AC/DC on TV at the age of 9 he knew for sure that he wanted to be a drummer.
He soon founded his first band “Spiderhead” and in 1983 he stood on stage for the first time.
When Spiderhead fell apart he started the heavy metal band Marauder, with which he played in the Dutch Hard Rock cafés and a demo tape was released.
In 1988 he became the drummer of The Breeze, with this band he played hundreds of times at home and abroad, he released 4 EPs, 5 full length albums and 2 singles that reached a listing in the Dutch top 100.
The Breeze is often a guest as support act for big bands such as Status Quo, Uriah Heep, Y&T, Nazareth, and so on.
He is also a guest with The Breeze on radio and television programs. When the curtain falls for The Breeze in 2010, he starts the band Bats.
Bats is a dialect rock band that is very popular in Gelderland for a short time, they release 2 singles and mainly play in the big party tents.
2015 is the year that Seven Thirty comes to life, in this band he can play everything that has inspired him his whole life, dubble bass shuffle, D-beat, triplets, and this especially with passion and energy.
He is currently working on the 3rd Seven Thirty album, and there is a Psychobilly album on the way called Count Cage.
Furthermore, he has been involved with young Hard rock/metal bands as a producer for the last 10 years, he also gets a lot of satisfaction from this.
42 years after his first GIG he is still unstoppable.
“Play it loud and proud!”
