In the early 70s Marco started at a drum club. The A.O.V., Aaltense Orchestra Association. From there he was asked to take a few drum lessons. After doing that, Marco got a taste for it and played in various bands such as; Screw, The Tarts, Hippy & de siklozen, Just Fun, Evie & the brinta boys and Tv 2. On October 5, 2024, Marco played his last gig at Setz in Aalten, with the band he started with in the 70thies… Ze-Bent. For this occasion he has gathered band members around him who captured the imagination in the Achterhoek pop/rock circuit in the 80s and 90s of the last century.
