Born on 01.04.1964 in Wunstorf (near Hanover), Germany

As a child, I was impressed when the Schützenfest march passed by.

The bass drum went straight to my stomach.

Discovered rock music in 1971 when I saw the band Slade on TV with their song “Coz I Love You”. Then a big fan of glam rock (The Sweet, T.Rex, Gary Glitter).

I drummed on the pillows in my children’s room to Golden Earring’s “Radar Love”, later to everything by Led Zeppelin and then, to increase speed: Ramones
