Pim started taking drum lessons with Mike Coolen (Within Temptation) when he was 12. He is now 28 and still takes drum lessons from him! Because of his interest in drums in different genres but especially metal, he auditioned at the Metal Factory which was new at the time. He started there in 2014. 2017 was the year he graduated. During his studies he had his first real band (Extremities) with friends of his age with whom he performed at various festivals, stages and halls. This was also his first tour as the opening act for Textures. After that adventure and graduating from Metal Factory he started working even more. At the moment he is active in Zeitwende as the main band where he now works, a range of other (tribute) bands. Pim does a lot of substitute work for others, studio work, giving drum lessons and helps with productions in 013.
