René started his career in the drum industry in 1993 at the distributor BMI in the Netherlands who handed Pearl drums and Vater Drumsticks
René became the product clinician for both brands and gave many clinics at drumshops , trade shows and drumschools through the Benelux.
After Pearl René moved to Tama Hoshino for a few years and since 2016 René became an international artist and product clinician for Dixon Drums and he was introduced at Dixon by the great John Blackwell Jr R.I.P who was a very special friend from René.
René gives many product clinics for Dixon Drums all over the world, at NAMM in the US , South Africa , England and in Europe.
In 2023 René celebrate his 30th anniversary in the drum industry also at Vater percussion as the Co founder for Vater in the Benelux and Artist . Now René is the Ambassador for Vater percussion and he is Flying under the wings of the great Alan Vater C.E.O of Vater percussion.
