Sina was born in Germany in 1999. Growing up in a musical family, she was exposed to a big selection of musical instruments from a very young age. Her father Mike Wilbury is a professional live- and studio musician. He recognised Sina’s talent for rhythm and groove early and took her to weekly drumming lessons from age 10.
When Sina was 14 years old, her father helped her to film and record her first YouTube video.
Quickly gaining international recognition with her videos, she soon started working on her first original album Chi Might, later to be followed by the albums Chi Might II and Chi Might III. Through these albums, Sina’s musical journey was shaped by collaboration from the very beginning. The Chi Might project alone features more than 40 individual artists.
Today, Sina is the most-watched female drummer on YouTube.
In 2018, Sina received her diploma from Drummers Institute in Krefeld, Germany. From 2020, she studied Jazz & Pop Drums at ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem, The Netherlands. From this study, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2024.
In 2022, Sina moved her recording studio out of her father’s basement in Germany to a houseboat in The Netherlands. In summer 2024, she moved to London, UK.
