Timo couldn’t sit still at a young age when it came to music. The Arnhem boy was already tapping along to his parents’ LPs and CDs with drumsticks from Savatage and Helloween, among others, that he had caught at a concert.
Early 2022, he got the chance to get his hands on a cheap kit through acquaintances. The then 21-year-old enthusiast was inspired to want to play the drums. This was partly due to the fact that his brother Jop was learning to play the guitar.
Together they have a lot in common, especially in the musical field. Later in the year, Timo started taking drum lessons and from there things went very quickly. Faster, harder, more technical and above all motivated. ”You can put all your creativity, emotions and especially fun into music. If I didn’t enjoy making music anymore, I would stop too. an advantage, I don’t expect that, it’s way too much fun!”
After his drumming progress grew at a rapid pace, he started the band Rotzorg together with Jop and their buddy Jim. The rest is a book that will be written gradually in the short life of the 23-year-old Drummer.
