In the 80s, Berrie started drum lessons at the local music school at the age of 8. After quitting in 1997, after a year of preparatory training at the conservatory in Tilburg (the rock academy was still being set up), he started Rattlesnake Shake in 1998. This is a band that makes its own arrangements of existing songs. But mash-ups also pass the revue. As long as it doesn’t deny the hard rock and it contributes to the party atmosphere. With this they won the audience award in 2006/2007 at the clash of the cover bands for which about 1600 bands registered. During this competition they played in the Effenaar, 013 and Paradiso, among others. After this they released a few singles of which Babica ended up in the top 100. The band has been around for more than 30 years now.
