Ian started drumming at the age of 10. He’s a self-taught musician who quickly mastered the art. His first hard rock band, “Beer Time,” was reasonably successful on the club circuit. This left him wanting more. After the band’s breakup, Ian and his guitarist picked it up again and formed the band “Pleh!”. Pleh! played a more raw hard rock that bordered on punk. After some studio time, their first single, “WTF!”, was released. The songs for the album were already written when the singer died in a tragic accident. The band subsequently disbanded, and the album was never released. In the years that followed, Ian became a popular guest drummer, both live and in the studio. He has played with national and international artists such as Uli Jon Roth, Vengeance, Bomber, and others. Besides drumming, Ian writes books, particularly thrillers and historical novels.
