Paul’s musical journey began extraordinarily early, he picked up his first pair of drumsticks at the age of four, and by six he was already performing with his first band. What emerged as a childhood spark evolved into an unwavering dedication to rhythm, expression, and artistic mastery.
In 2006, Paul graduated from the Conservatory with a specialization in Jazz Drums, establishing a foundation that would propel him into an international career. He has spent years touring with a wide range of artists and has become widely recognized for his precision, creative versatility, and dynamic stage presence. In addition to his live work, Paul is a much-requested studio and session musician, known for his musical intuition and ability to elevate any production.
Today, Paul performs with Joss Mennen (Zinatra), Bridget van Zundert (Tieptipique’s), the rising rock outfit Queen of Spades, and his own new upcoming band Rebel Together. His sound is marked by power, expressiveness, and an unmistakable sense of groove.
Beyond his musical career, Paul has emerged as a writer and entrepreneur. In September 2025, he released his #5 bestselling book Resilience of Love, followed in November by its international edition. As the founder of Origin Today, Paul bridges the worlds of drumming and leadership, translating the principles of rhythm, flow, and collaboration into organizational culture. He illuminates how leaders can cultivate rhythm within their teams and how organizations can function with the cohesion and synergy of a band.
His upcoming second book, Resilience of Rhythm, will delve deeper into these themes, exploring how rhythm, resilience, and creativity can transform both individuals and organizations.
