Jurrian Snoek started drum lessons at a young age at the music school with Wim van Hamersveld. In 1996 he graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory, where he specialized in Drums Light Music. During his education he was taught by renowned teachers such as Fred Krens, Peter Ypma, Hans van Oosterhout, Hans Eykenaar, Marcel Serierse and Gerard Jeltes.
In addition to drumming, Jurrian also plays other instruments, such as piano and guitar, and he sings. From 2005 to 2022 he was the regular drummer of jeWelste, one of the most famous cover bands in the Netherlands. With jeWelste he performed in the supporting program of Guus Meeuwis’ stadium tour in 2009 and regularly released unique arrangements of well-known hits. The band shared the stage with various major artists.
Jurrian is not only an experienced musician, but also an innovative entrepreneur. He is the owner and developer of Drumbook Online, an innovative platform for drum teachers and drummers.
As a professional musician, Jurrian has performed worldwide, from Germany to Japan. He has also worked in musicals and as a programmer and demonstrator for Yamaha-Europe. He also did and does recording sessions.
