Marco Prij is a versatile and experienced drummer from Hoogeveen, the Netherlands. He started in 2004 at the age of 8 and by now most people know him as the drummer of the Dutch band Cryptosis or as the drummer of the Swedish formation In Aphelion, with members of Necrophobic. Besides his own bands, Marco is active as a session drummer for live shows and studio work. In recent years, Marco has been able to tour with Flotsam and Jetsam, Ross the Boss (ex-Manowar), Pestilence, Skeletal Remains, Fifth Angel, Helleruin and Bodyfarm. Marco also owns his own drum school where 65 students are currently enrolled.
