Mika Pyykkö is a Finnish drummer best known for the psychobilly band Hellblazers.
He most often uses Vic Firth 5A drumsticks, but since sticks tend to disappear on tour, what really matters in the end is simply having sticks in hand – regardless of the brand. Thanks, Marcel!
You’ll usually recognize him by his red stage outfit, but keep your eyes open; besides drums, he might also be playing guitar or bass on stage in other lineups.
As a self-taught musician, his influences came from listening to a lot of rock across different music channels in the 00’s. Psychobilly, rockabilly, and blues rock are especially close to his heart today!
