October Changes began its journey in 2019 when founder Luk Michels joined forces with Wesley Marivoet and Bert Lempens. After a period of exploration, the band felt it was time to start fresh. In 2022, they worked on a complete reboot of the band, welcoming Lhana as their new powerhouse vocalist. With this new lineup, the band dove into intensive writing sessions, aiming to reshape their sound entirely. The result was a blend of fierce electronic beats and melodic metal, a fusion they called Electromelodic Metal.
By June 2023, October Changes was ready to bring their new sound to life. They entered Sandlane Studios to record their debut EP, Synthetic Authentic, which dropped in December the same year. Now, the band is hitting the road, delivering live shows to promote the EP and introduce audiences to their signature style.
But the Change isn’t slowing down. They’re already at work on their full-length debut album, crafting a dynamic mix of powerful symphonic ballads and high-energy anthems that ensure no two shows are ever the same. With Lhana’s angelic vocals, electronic rhythms, and catchy guitar riffs, October Changes is set to thrill audiences and keep the energy high — whether they’re lured by a soulful melody or caught up in the relentless drive of a head-banging beat.
Leading the Change is Lhana, whose vocals bring both intensity and elegance to every performance. Luk drives the rhythm on guitar, while Bert’s lead guitar adds melodies and solos to the mix. Wesley rounds out the lineup on drums, delivering beats with energy and precision.
